CareForce Celebrates
National Women’s Health Week
May 12-18, 2013

CareForce observes the important roles that women play in family health care every day. Women are often both caregivers and decision makers in the families we serve. As a result, they are under great stress and must pay attention to their own health as well as the health of their loved ones. We honor the women in our communities and strongly support National Women's Health Week. Please read the quote below and follow the link to find out more about how you can improve the health status of the special women in your life!

"Starting with Mother’s Day, next week we celebrate National Women’s Health Week. As a nation, we honor the women in our lives – our mothers, grandmothers, aunts, sisters, cousins, friends, and colleagues – by encouraging them to make their health a priority and to take steps to live healthier, happier lives.

Women are frequently the health care decision-makers in their families. We take time off from work to drive a parent to the doctor."

~ Kathleen Sebelius,
US Secretary of Health and Human Services
